Usually these opportunities have timeline for the decisions to be made. What is the way forward in the light of your teachings or insight into stewarding resources on behalf of God who is the giver of all things?
Answer: part of our stewardship is to have money set aside for investments. Rich dad teachings say have three piggy banks: one for saving, one for investing and one for giving (tithe). The giving can include giving to the poor etc. When you have the plan to have investments, you save towards it. When your investments yield income, do more investing with your income from past investment. So if you constantly save for investment, your investment potential will grow. Never invest in what you have not investigated well. You can also team up with others if your available investible fund is not sufficient. Investment is a team game not solo. Hope this helps.
Question: why is it that there are problems in applying principles from God’s Word into our lives and situations? Is this difficulty not the reason why many find it hard to confess God’s Word for instance?
Answer: The world as we know it was given to man to rule over as the authority-delegate of God Almighty. Man sold out to the devil-Satan. The whole of creation has come under the sway of evil. He has been given access to things he had no business touching. Paul says the whole world lies in darkness. Anything that is Godly, progressive and positive future looking will meet opposition from basic level to whatever level you want to get in life. At every new level, be ready for a new devil. Basically the problem you encounter at trying to apply God’s principles can be likened to an airplane needing to overcome the inertia of its own weight before it can take off. It needs to develop speed while on the ground to overcome its weight. You will need to develop discipline to overcome innate laziness in you from the fallen fleshly nature we all inherited in Adam. When the plane engages the law of lift after generating the necessary speed, it can then take off. As you get into discipline of habit, you engage your mind and focus on God’s Word, this builds faith in you and the law of faith takes effect as you do what the Word says. With repeated actions, faith grows and you also can take off into a new lifestyle that can be sustained by faith. Just like the plane’s engine needs to keep running while it is airborne, so also you need to live by faith all the time. The Law of lift enables the plane to overcome the law of gravity, so the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (activated by faith) enables you overcome the law of sin and death. The difficulty is as a result of the law of sin and death set into motion on earth through Adam’s sin. The solution is the decision and determination to engage our faith in God’s Word and become a practitioner of the Word of God. God bless you and all your efforts for His kingdom.
