Challenge, Opportunity and Privilegde

In my sharing recently, I began to see that every kingdom adventure has these three different dimensions amongst others. Every step of obedience to God, every new vista to cover or conquer in the Kingdom and every venture into new teritories for kingdom advancement will always have these three dimensions.
CHALLENGE
God seems to like challenging the status quo in His dealings with us. Whether its in the financial realm, in the use of our time, or whatever talent, treasure or resource that is demanded, it seems like full obedience will challenge our present lifestyle. It is obvious that having challenges help us unearth our hidden potentials. God wants us to depend on Him in all the expressions of His will on earth. Whatever God tells you to do will most likely place a demand on your time, talent or treasure. An element of sacrifice is usually needed as, walking with Him demands covenant sacrifice, (psalm 50). We think convenience, He thinks covenant. All the love for self and comfort will be challenged in us, if we must keep walking with Him. Did Jesus not say if any man will follow Him , we should deny our self, take us our cross and follow Him? He simply challenges our normal living so we can give room to His supernatural living in and through us. Our faith is needed to obey. This dependence leads to a heart cry for His wisdom, help and strength to do His bidding. Through this our cappacity for faith, wisdom and obedience all increase. It will look like a trying time, but really its a growing time. With Increase in capacity comes increase in responsibility and authority in our lives. sometimes our obedience to God opens us up to new trials or challenges and we tend to think the enemy has his hand in our matter, but the truth is, our trials are supposed to create the environment for faith to grow, wisdom to become our main stay and maturity to become a reality in us. We look at things fro our beneficial stand point in the natural but God sees a higher purpose for our lives. Many have asked why God did not deliver Joseph from slavery and eventually from the prison? On the two occassions he was treated wrongly to have been dealt with like these. God did not prevent neither did He remove him immediately it happened. I believe He had a higher purpose than simply delivering His for his comfort. Our faith is meant to help us participate with God's purposes not neccesarily for our comfort and convenience. God's purpose in Joseph's life was to bring about provision for His people, the Jews.
